NEW MAINTENANCE SERVICE PARTNER FOR MERCEDES-BENZ TRUCKS ON THE RUSSIAN MARKET
The AutoLogistics dealer center (ALS), part of the holding group incorporating Avilon Automotive Group, is now a Mercedes-Benz truck service partner.
The news was announced at the ALS dealership center’s press conference dedicated to the opening of its new service station for Mercedes trucks. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AutoLogistics, Chairman of the Board and CEO of AVILON AG Andrei Pavlovich, and Director General of OOO Daimler KAMAZ Rus Andreas Deuschle.
In his speech, Andrei Pavlovich mentioned this is the first partnership of this level for AutoLogistics: “Our company has entered into an agreement on the maintenance service of trucks, and we are pleased that our first partner in this sphere is DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS, the official manufacturer and distributor of Mercedes-Benz trucks in Russia. Cooperation with DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS is a strategic priority for the entire AVILON holding group.”
It was also announced that as part of its 2020 strategy, the Avilon holding group has plans to cooperate with the world’s largest truck manufacturers. In addition to maintenance service, Mr. Pavlovich also announced the company’s intentions to continue to sell commercial vehicles under the aegis of ALS, making it the largest Russian dealer of trucks.
At the moment, ALS is a multifunctional transport hub in the Moscow region. It services trucks and provides special equipment, sells parts, transports and sells used vehicles, stores special automotive equipment, and also provides customs services. In addition, ALS also has a driver’s leisure complex, including a hotel, cafeteria, shop and gym.
